| I think that brian and nick noted awhile ago that pc games seem to dissapearing... I mean there are the whole mmorpg's like guild wars and what not with the occassional rts game like bfmeII.... What happened to pc games?!? Even lucasarts is into it.. Everyones just concetrating on the console games...which is really stupid because as brian says over and over... PC's are better gaming machines... other than the graphics (that don't matter too much) pc's can do more and don't become "out of date" as fast...customizable and everything else... What has happened to our lovely pc games...? | |

| Well, since i am an experienced player on all types of games from both consoles adn computers, i gotta say, the new systems like PS3 and X-Box 360, the graphics arent the only thing. They gameplay is usually easier for action adventure games and fps because it is quite easier to just pick up and play, while on pc games u have to memorize a whole set of keys. Dont get me wrong, im a fan of pc games as well, but i think it comes down to whether or not ur a deathly hardcore gamer or jsut a normal hardcore gamer, or even jsut a regular gamer. lol | |

| Console games are also better from the standpoint that the processors are dedicated solely to gaming.. there isnt windows running in the background. Also, the Xbox has a 3 3.2 Ghz processors... thats like three of my processors.
But, PC gaming hasnt been up with consoles for a long time... like in the 80s-early 90s

| Yeah, exactly, except, systems like the ps3 and wii, and trying to act like gaming computers in a computer since, because on he Wii, u can actually go online to our forum website, and type something like this in, for a console, that is pretty amazing. | |

| You sent this over a year ago, but o, well brian.....anyway, over the 1+ year since we actually communicate through this topic, you are right, they probably aren't as easy to control. But they have been releasing a lot more, but the PC community has made comebacks for fps's as well, like Crysis for instance, haha. | |

lol lorenzo and I were talking the other day and we were talking about how he should get the orange box for PC instead of x box, so he can play with us and it's just easier and made for the PC well then we kindof got into an arguement and he says that shooting on the playstation and x-box makes more sense because you actually have to aim at the people, but on the PC you just have to click on the person, wth? isn't getting your mouse on the moving target aiming? What's he mean you have to aim on the x-box? surely he's not saying that using the little mini-joystick thing or always having your gun forward unless you press a button to aim on somebody is more realistic? it's like auto-aim and making you use more buttons than you should! He also didn't understand why, when I told him he should definitely get Portal on the PC at least, I think that one should be obvious

| wow, really? Yeah, honestly, i've usually found it's better to aim with a mouse, realism shoots up to an all-time high if you have a moues with 2400 dpi or more, too. I don't know why he would say that, it's just so.......wrong, haha. But then again, you have to realize he has a 360, so he is used to joystick aiming more than we are, becuase we are more familiar with mouse aiming. I guess its just really all opinionized (is that a word?) and you cant get mad at him for that. | |

Yah, you're right, that makes a lot more sense, but still he's played TF2 before and stuff, but it's all a matter of what you're used to I do have to say I just got back from playing Halo 3 at paige's house and the aiming is just really sucky, it's not quick and there's no "fanning" or whatever it's called where you go back and forth, left and right, it'll get better I'm sure, but for now I'm sticking with the cat-like reflexes of a mouse HAHA get it? " cat-like reflexes of a mouse!"
