Windows 7

alright, so everybody knows Vista was horrible, extremely horrible. Just a ripoff from XP and alot of copying off of macs.

But windows 7, I heard a lot of hype about it,(they finally rewrote windows explorer!!!! about time!) but from the little videos on youtube of the demos and everything, I'm not really impressed, what do you guys think?

I think, personally, that it's stupid. Why after just a year, release a new operating system, i realize taht Vista sucked but still, it would have just been smarter to drop the price of Vista a little and then update it with new things as best they can, they basically wasted millions of dollars on vista and now we have Windows 7! WTF? I also don't really think it looks that impressive either. It still kindof looks like Vista, but oh well.

Honestly from what i hear Vista is pretty good now with SP1 and all. I think that Microsoft has lost a lot of credibility that it had and needs something to help that. The two options i see are improving vista or starting over and theyre obviously starting over. So hopefully (for them) they chose the better of the two options.
