It's the coolest newest fad that hasn't caught on yet!!

You can be some of the first people in wauseon to download and put MSN in the past!

It's pretty much an IM service but instead of IMing... you talk to each other.. just like on a phone.. but with the microphones on your computer... MSN does allow you to do this.. but it slows down your computer alot... and has a somewhat unreliable and lesser quality than skype does...

Skype also lets you call phones (2.1 cents per minute i think) which you can also do with MSN.. but with skype brian said he thought you can buy giftcards like with itunes cards.. just put it in and you can have 10 dollars of talking there.. that's about x minutes of talking.. idk how easy it is to get the giftcards.. like if they're at wal-marts or best buys or at small stores that are less common around here... But the point is.. that with skype you don't have to worry about all that credit card crap if you don't want to..

If you ever used itunes with using the giftcards instead of credit cards.. you would know that this makes it much easier.. especially if you don't even own a credit card...

You can have multiple people in one conversation.. which is something msn can't do.. and it probably stays clear and non laggish

Web cams conferences are also possible.. although i have not yet tried it...

It also lets you have a status, IM, display picture, name and send files..

Point is.. if you get it.. more people get it.. and then if more people get it.. then the more cool it is... It's also used for the pc gamer podcasts..
