its funny reading back through all this that ATI really is in a pretty clear lead. Nvidia has the 280 now which has the single fastest GPU, but the ATI 4870 X2 has 2 GPUs on one board. While you can SLI 3 280s together, they arent much faster than 2 4870X2's in crossfire. ATI's big advantage is that theyre quite a bit cheaper for the speed you get.

Also PJ it wouldnt cost too much money for you to buy a halfway decent videocard, which might not be a bad idea because i think thats the only thing holding you back from TF2 on your computer now.

Oh the irony, I just ordered a "new" graphics card! I will finally be able to play the Orange Box, Battle for Middle Earth II, KoToR, and KoToR II
SO HAPPY PJ, unless it doesn't work Sad

It is a "PNY VCG84512SPEB GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Video Card" running on a something 3.0 Ghz thing and 2gb of RAM,and yes, it is PCI. And my computer isn't the fastest now, even with just the stuff I run now, but if I can play the game, I'll be happy.

I'll post in a couple days or so to tell how it's working, since it's shipping now.
