Well, ok, i said both, but here r my, reasons: Marvel tends to have storylines that r more dramatic and the characters r usually more developed than in DC comics, but most of DC's characters become widely known like Superman and Batman. But pj, u forgot 1 very important company, with the rights to such things as Star Wars and Blade; Darkhorse comics. And Darkhorse, is sweet too. Dont leave them out. Good thinking on this topic tho, pj. I wasnt waiting for something new and interesting in teh books section, and i knew if i put it up, no1 would reply, lol. Smart man! Comics Rule!!!!!! geek lml

OmG!
you're right!!! wow...i feel like such a failure now.... i mean really.. I own darkhorse comic books and i have one laying on the floor underneath my futon right behind me... But ya they rock! Sometimes they can be a lil over dramatic though.. I guess all comics are like that from time to time...

try to stick to the topic TD!!!!

Marvels characters arn't one-dementional the way D.C.'s are. Thru the entire storyline (for example: Spiderman), u c peter devlop a relationship w/ Mary Jane. when it comes to Superman, it is more like :"OH NO!!, I cant let Lois find out im Superman... Ohh, she already knows." so they date for 35 yrs, And when the comics stop selling in the nineties, they have them get married.

i agree with colin...Marvels characters have actual lives behind the superhero that the authors develop...while with DC it is more about fighting bad guys than their counterparts' lives. Don't get me wrong. Dc isn't bad. They have some classic heroes, and they are really cool. The fights and the bad guys' plots are always sweet, but Marvel has almost as good bad guy things and a WAY better plot line, aside from just the hero.

I agree a ton with what colin and andrew said, Marvel characters are way more believeable because you see them as more of somewhat regular pwople with actual lives, instead of guys that just beat the crap out of bad guys. But then again like andrew said, I really do like DC also... just not as much

lol. U kno u guys have been saying the exact same thing i said before. Character development is the same thing as ur all talking about, lol. Still yeah, i like marvel over dc. And all those third party 1s, well they can have some good 1s, but usually they dont, but on a rare occasion, maybe.

yeah, but we're saying that they are more believeable... which is based on having a good storyline but goes a little bit farther

They released an exclusive iron man movie trailer that still hasnt even hit the internet yet, lol, (i checked already, because g4 wasnt allowed to show it)and they also showed off a promo for the Halo Action Clix (lol, yeah, they r Halo Hero Clix, lol, look exactly the same). It was pretty cool, there were other cool stuff, but there was so much, i just cant even explain all of it in a measly forum post, lol.
